Hanoi City | Perfume Pagoda | Hoa Lu - Tam Coc

Welcome to Hanoi the capital city of Vietnam. An attractive city of many parks and large lakes such as Hoan Kiem with its Tortoise Tower. Cultural sites such as the Temple of Literature, Museum of Ethnology, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex with its Museum and Ho Chi Minh's stilt house.
In the center of Hanoi is the Old Quarter area, popular with many tourists this is part of the city's rich cultural heritage and is reminiscent of a 1930's provincial French town.
Originating over one thousand years ago in Northern Vietnam the famous Hanoi Water Puppets are a delight for all age groups, their theatre lies at the north of Hoan Kiem Lake.

The rural area surrounding Hanoi has many places of interest such as Hoa Lu -Tam Coc with their breathtaking rock formations and caves set amongst the rice paddies, and Perfume Pagoda with it's Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs.

Hanoi City - (Private Tour)

Depart at 8am:

At 8am your personal guide and private car will pick you up from your hotel. Passing through the Hanoi Old Quarter and Dong Xuan market we visit the ancient citadel and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex with Ho Chi Minhs stilt house and Museum. Continuing on to the One Pillar and Tran Quoc pagodas, and Quan Thanh temple.

Stop for lunch.

We drive through the Botanical gardens and the city taking in the scenery on the way to the Museum of Ethnology, and the Temple of Literature. Returning with a trip around Hoan Kiem Lake, we arrive in plenty of time to have dinner and see the famous Hanoi Water Puppets.

Perfume Pagoda - The Buddhism land - (Private Tour)

Depart at 7am:

At 7am your personal guide and private car will pick you up from your hotel. After a 2 hour trip out of the city and into the rural area we arrive at Perfume Pagoda. Located on the limestone rocks of Huong Tich Mountain in beautiful and mystical surroundings is a complex of Pagodas and Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs - known as 'The Mountain of Fragrant Traces'.

Here we relax on board our rowing boat and set off on a 1 hour journey to Thien Tru quay.

On arrival we set off on a 3 hours round trip trekking up to the main cave Pagoda. The main pagoda is set in a huge grotto containing a highly decorative shrine with many stalactites and stalagmites. Returning to base were lunch will be served.

Stop for lunch.

After lunch we go to Thien Tru pagoda (Heaven Kitchen) to relax before returning to Hanoi.

Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (Ancient Citadel) - (Private Tour)

Depart at 7am:

At 7am your personal guide and private car will pick you up from your hotel. Arriving at Hoa Lu we visit its ancient citadel - The remains of temples, shrines and the Kings Palace. It is a very peaceful place and the rural outlook is serene and pleasant.

Leaving Hoa Lu and approaching Tam Coc we are presented with the begining of some breathtaking scenery.

Stop for lunch.

After lunch we board our bamboo rowing boats for a 2 hour tour passing through Tam Coc (Three Caves). The caves Hang Ca 127m in length, Hang Giua 70m, and Hang Cuoi 40m are along with the huge rock formations jutting out of the rice paddies quite spectacular. Return to Hanoi.
